↠´ Princess in the Making á Download by ò Michelle Celmer Good book Vanessa went to Varieo because the king had asked her to marry him He is an older man who had stayed at the hotel where she worked They had gotten to know each other and become friends She came to Vareio to get to know him better before she said yes or no When she arrived, she was met by his son Marcus because the king had been called away Marcus had had some bad experiences with women who were after him for his money and position and was sure that Vanessa was like that too When he started showing her around by the request of his father, he got to know her and realized that she wasn t the scheming gold digger he thought she was Then they fell in love, but realized that nothing could come of it Vanessa could no longer marry the king, but she refused to come between him and Marcus I liked Marcus, especially after he realized how good Vanessa is I liked the way he treated her and I loved how good he was with little Mia I liked Vanessa and how concerned she was with the king s feelings I also liked the way that she finally dealt with her father Overall, a good ending to the book.
He was only supposed to tempt Vanessa Reynolds away from her plot to become queen The pretty, single mother may believe she s going to marry his father, but Prince Marcus Salvatora will do everything in his power to prevent a royal marriage.
Yet befriending the lovely American and her adorable baby girl has the debonair bachelor awash in confusion This woman and her child are not schemers In fact, they could make his life complete But once she leaves without a wedding ring, the powerful prince knows he ll be forbidden to ever truly make her his own.
I was not so impressed with this book Perhaps it was the fact that it was too unbelievable Marcus s heart is broken, so he sleeps with his father s betrothed Vanessa has been dumped by her baby father, so she sleeps with her betrothed s son There is nothing admirable about either of these characters The reader doesn t root for them to come together He just roots for the King to find someone besides Vanessa, someone who would love him and help him find life again after his wife s death This book is part of the Billionaires and Babies series for Harlequin.
read in Kindle form but I couldn t find a kindle version to post, so it s listed as a paperback I liked this story even though I thought I wouldn t The story was a new one for me.
I wish I could return this book.
Not for me and I feel it isn t for many people I don t care if he is jesus christ reincarnated but cheating on the guy you care for is pathetic Especially his son.
Its just weird how anyone could pitch this to a publisher especially one at MB and get the reaction of fantastic.
Big fat DNF One word YUCK I m 24 years old same age as Vanessa and thinking about having a relationship with a 56 year old grandpa does not matter if he s a king makes me want to vomit She s a gold digger Period No matter how the author wants to portray her as not after his wealth girl And with her background of irresponsibilityI think people like her are waste of space.
Really enjoyed reading this story great writing style, loved the characters, the sexual tension, and the premise of the plot I m not always sure what to expect when reading a Harlequin publication, but this story was a real winner for me Not sure the cover does this book justice though Looking forward to books by this author.
I should always check goodreads before reading a book I found cleaning Did a reread last week.
