[ Pdf Behind the Film Stars Smile · physics PDF ] by Kate Hardy ☆ When The Camera Stops Rolling Former Police Officer Jess Greenacre Is Hoping To Bury Her Past And Becoming A Runner On A London Film Set Is The Change In Scenery She Needs But She Hadn T Planned On Running Into Award Winning Actor Luke McKenzie On Her Very First Day And She Certainly Hadn T Expected The Earth Shattering Kiss That Leaves Them Both Wanting Luke Has Painful Memories Of His Own, But Could The Honesty He Finds In This Captivating Woman S Eyes Herald A New Start For Both Of Them The second half of the book just didn t tie it upI actually really enjoyed the first half of this book I thought the drama, the obstacles the hero and heroine had to overcome were different, not the ordinary usual Hollywood trope romance dramas It was refreshing I also liked that although there were exes in the picture they didn t come back to play a huge part in the story However, that being said, the end of the book was seriously rushed, there were issues that weren t resolved to my liking, and there was no epilogueif a story ever needed an epilogue, this was one of them It s doing a disservice to Jess and Luke that they didn t get and epilogueperhaps one that saw Jess, Luke, THEIR BABY and Baloo on set of his newest big blockbuster And frankly giving Luke s ex a way out, and not calling her out for the horrible person she is was, is somehow trivializing IMO the suffering Luke has to deal with as a man dealing with his demon Men and women go through it, and to just let Fleur go off with good press, after everything she did, seems to cast a light on Luke that as a man he doesn t get to feel awful about the situation I was NOT pleased with the handling of that backstory I wish these things had been crafted better and concluded thoroughly, because I truly loved the characters of Jess, Luke and sweet Baloo I have always been fascinated with the wonder of what goes on in the lives of celebrities when the cameras stop rolling It is not hard from the information the medic gives us, to know that these people might be famous, but they hurt, love, get angry and pretty much do everything else we do But how does it all really happen, is it per change meetings at glamorous celebrity events Or is it a little down to earth like regular people In this wonderful read from author Kate Hardy, she took me into the world of film star Luke McKenzie and what really lies behind his star studded smile It starts with former police officer Jess Greenacre, she needs to bury her past and becoming a runner on a London film set is exactly the change of scenery she needs But her little adventure turns out to be filled with drama when she ends up having to babysit award winning actor Luke McKenzie s adorable dog, so much less fun than keeping a watchful eye on a criminal behind bars, or is it An earth shattering kiss from Luke sends Jess into quite the one way direction of road to love and she wants and so does Luke But Luke has a past and secrets of his own can the honesty and love of Jess bring him back from the brink of loneliness or will he send her running when he reveals that he is less than star perfect I adored the dog in this read, too cute for words and certainly the one steeling the show from the main characters The character of Luke was a really great character to read about, I am sure the author did research and talked to actors to get a feel for it all, but even if she made it up using only her imagination it felt truly real for me as reader I was right there for all the drama of the press that goes along with being an actor, the being here and there at the same time, really amazing insight into the world of an actor The character of Jess was really fun I loved her funky life gives me lemons so I go somewhere else and make lemonade attitude The entire character felt fun, fresh and not quite like other s I have read before, I really loved it I am recommending this really sweet and sensual read for anyone looking for a trip into the world of romance that will leave you with a very content and happy smile 5 5 star review Me, you and a dog named Baloo is about to take on the journey of love 3.

5 StarsChallenges Pass the Parcel Round 10 Week 9 54 on the list Actor and Actresses in Category Romance SM It was cute I don t normally go for harlequin romance because I am not too into mushy gushy type books, but this one sort of caught my eye and I figured what the heck Let me try it Its about a woman named Jess Greenacre who ends up working as an assistant on a film set She ends up meeting an actor named Luke McKenzie because he came to the set one day with a dog that he was watching for his aunt Storming into the office where Jess was stationed, he kind of threw the dog at Jess and her boss to sort of babysit for him, and then stormed out Later on he comes back and apologizes for his behavor and thats when the ball starts to roll with the Jess and him I liked that they bonded because of Baloo, the dog The way Jess and Luke came together as friends first, then learning about each of their pasts and and seeing how they both really do need someone in their lives again to love and trust, as well as being perfect for each other, was really cute For me, it wasn t amazing, but it was cute and if you want a quick read in between hunting for your next book check it out BEHIND THE FILM STAR S SMILE by author Kate Hardy is April 2014 release by Harlequin Romance and Mills Boon Cherish series.

The best thing about this book is the male infertility plotline, because way too often that s something female characters bear Not a bad random pickup.
Cute story about a lovely actor who knows nothing about dogs but had one foisted upon him by a favorite aunt, and a temp agency production assistant s assistant who used to train police dogs until she couldn t any It s just a sweet, fun story with a nice bit of angst to flavor it I liked it a lot.
